We had a wonderful stay at Rock View and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cottage was beautifully renovated and spacious, with a charming and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to cook our own meals, and the dining room provided lovely views while we enjoyed our food. The lounge area was our favorite spot, with comfortable sofas and a cozy chaise-lounge for reading. The bedroom was a good size and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a good shower, although it was on the smaller side. Despite the lack of outdoor views, the outdoor space had a pretty garden with a table and chairs for relaxation. The village was picturesque and there was a nearby pub with stunning views just a 15-minute walk away. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas with hikes and other attractions easily accessible by car. we highly recommend this lovely cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The location of the cottage was perfect for our needs, with easy access to nearby attractions and walking trails. The size of the rooms was also impressive, providing us with plenty of space during our stay. the welcome pack that included a bottle of wine was a thoughtful touch that added to our overall experience.
One major drawback of the cottage was the lack of parking. Although we were able to find parking on the road outside the property, it would have been more convenient to have our own designated parking space.

I recently stayed at Rock View, a beautiful little cottage in Hope Valley. The cottage had fantastic facilities in the kitchen, including a cafetiere, blender, and washing machine. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. There were lots of little touches that made it feel homely, such as games in the lounge and a great selection of cookbooks. The owner communicated well and left lovely biscuits and prosecco as a welcome gift. The location was quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic inn just five minutes up the road. I fully recommend this cottage for a country escape.
Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Rock View for a wedding and had a wonderful time exploring the peaceful local area. The cottage was clean, cute, and had everything we needed for a longer stay. Kathy, the owner, was incredibly friendly and even gave us a lift to the wedding when we couldn't find a taxi. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Peak District, and we felt assured and relaxed during our stay.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Lovely location with beautiful views. The cottage had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting room. The bedroom was spacious and the en suite bathroom was modern and perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean and everything was in perfect working order. The heating system was efficient and kept the cottage warm. The welcome items on arrival were a nice touch. The cottage also had a washing machine, which was convenient.
The steps leading to the cottage were pitch black at night, posing a hazard. Adding a security light would be helpful.

I stayed at a lovely cottage in a picturesque location. The furnishings were of good quality and the cottage was clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, the central heating worked very well, which is rare for cottages this age. The shower was also impressive, another rarity in holiday cottages. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided helpful information.

Comprehensive book of walks and dining options, albeit in need of updates. Enjoyable pub, The Chequers, within walking distance. Great base for exploring the east and central Peak District.
